We recently worked with David to buy our first home. Not only were we in search for a home, but we were also in the midst of planning our wedding.
Our plan was to move into our new home before the wedding so that we could just focus on settling in, once we returned from our honeymoon.
David took us through a budget plan before we started looking for houses.
It was a great feeling to know that he was not only interested in making a sale, but also in ensuring that we stayed within our budget plan.
We visited a number of houses and could not find anything that suited our needs. Through what felt like forever, David was very professional and patient and always made himself available to answer our questions. He never pressured us to settle, even knowing that our wedding was fast approaching. He encouraged us to take our time and that we would find the home that was for us.
Just weeks before the wedding, we fell in love with a particular house.
Unfortunately, by the time we put in an offer, it was already sold conditionally. We were a bit devastated, but in true David style, he encouraged us not to be dismayed and to keep looking.
A week later, David did a follow-up on the house that we loved, and gave us a call to let us know that it was still on the market. We quickly put in an offer and got the house!
Our dream of closing before our wedding did not come true, but we did close a week after we returned from our honeymoon and it was perfect timing. It was the perfect home just for us.
The entire experience was smooth. We were impressed overall with the service that David provided. We’ve heard horror stories of rocky real estate transactions, but David made our first time home buying experience a breeze. We found exactly what we were looking for.
