Sally Would Disappear Behind The Furnace – Mark & Hannah

We were eagerly looking to buy our first home together a few months ago.

Mark had worked with Sally during a purchase of a condo a few years back and was so pleased with his experience that he would not consider working with anyone else this time around.

Our first consultation with Sally lasted over an hour where she essentially got to know who we were: she helped us determine the type and range of houses that we were looking for and later provided us with detailed spreadsheets and instructions regarding the next steps related to financing that was required before we even we stepped foot into a viewing. 

After that first meeting, Sally’s keen sense of the type of home we were looking for and attention to all types of detail outside of mere aesthetics (there wasn’t a viewing where we wouldn’t lose Sally behind a furnace for a moment!) was apparent with every viewing. 

She would handpick listings for us daily from the basic property matches which were surprisingly identical to those we would choose between ourselves (eventually we relinquished this task to her!).

She demonstrated amazing patience as we attempted to navigate through the stressful climate of bidding wars, bully offers, and underpriced listings rampant in the current housing market.

We never felt as though we were being pressured for her time and we trusted her advice regarding the value of the homes we were seeing.

When it came time to offer, she painstakingly provided us with many similar sales in the neighbourhood as to provide us with the best possible information, so we were well armed before making an offer.

In addition to her professionalism, we couldn’t have asked for a better person to spend many  hours touring the city with- she is great fun and has a fantastic sense of humour, making the sometimes painful task of viewing 10 homes in one afternoon enjoyable.

We would wholeheartedly recommend Sally Cook and her team to anyone looking to buy or sell a home.  We are thrilled at the home we finally purchased and owe much of our great experience to this dedicated real estate team.
